Nov 18, 2008 - I have a question... I think I remember this. Is he the guy who died on the field and they brought him back... If so, I would have been 6yrs old at the time. This stuck with me all my life.

Nov 18, 2008 - In 1971, Chuck Hughes (WR) died on the field from a heart attack.Reggie Brown went down with a neck injury in 1997 and needed mouth to mouth on the field. His career ended, however he is not paralyzed.

Nov 18, 2008 - No, he didn't die, but became paralyzed. The entire team was inspired and the year became the "Thumbs Up" year, because Mike gave the thumbs up as he was carted off the field.
