Jul 7, 2008 - ok.....you are comparing 1.4 million w/ 70k?if a company comes out with a tt kit (or even single turbo kit) for an m3, it will take a big fat dukie on the veyron. everyone who knows the m srs knows that with a turbo kit, they respond REALLY FUCKING WELL.so pretty much, if the m3 has a turbo kit, it will launch so quick that by the time the race was done it would be a very close race....
hohahohi Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - lol, veyron gave a head start and finished first.

Jul 7, 2008 - i agree i would like to see the mclaren f1 gt take off next to a veyron..
cliffkemp Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - turbo is not going to help the launch of the M3. The M3 will never beat the veyron.
DecimusKrieg Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - considering the price difference the M3 didn't do too bad though :)

CoyoteJack2 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - their a completely different class man!, oh sure, the BMW really has the possibility to hit 407km/h? It'd fall apart at 350! Your paying for the elite quality that the veyron is, the BMW is just a toy compared
15g3k Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - i never said it would beat a veyron, i said it would be a very close race in a real life scenario (not track or drag, just street).....and turbo doesn't help launch? well it does at least on my car :S
cliffkemp Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - My point is, a turbo for the M3 may help make it closer in the short race. The reason a turbo will not help it on the launch is because the traction issue. A turbo doesnt help any car on the launch. Yes I said that. I have owned many turbo cars too. the only thing that helps any car on launch is traction. On a regular street race simply adding hp to the m3 is not going to help cause it will lose traction that much easier. Your comment is correct at a drag strip with proper tire warm up though.

moco124 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - i think that BMW makes very nice cars, but a simple M3 with a turbo and ,what a v8, vs. a Bugatti 16 cylinder engine is no contest.the bimmer does have great pick up with that turbo, but come on its a bugatti. now if there was a v12 M6 vs. the Bugatti then we would have a race.
sniper1724 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - the driver let the bmw get a head start?
ax50 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - it'd be a short one, that veyron is ridiculous.not fair to compare it to any other normal car.
