Sally started her career as Gidget, which I think is very similar to America's role in Ugly Betty in many ways, especially the physical unatractiveness part, and then she went on to become one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood. I know that we in the US think we are the only ones that can claim that name but there are other places both north and south of the border that are ust as American as we are.
