I don't see the tragedy. Jimi used an ass-ton of effects in the later stage of his career, and almost every (electric) guitar player currently working uses an effect of some sort.Also, Winslow rocks.

Nov 18, 2008 - It's a phenomenon called distortion. It's when a sound is so loud that a microphone can't pick up the sound correctly and it creates a buzzing sound like an electric guitar. If you yell into a microphone, then you should hear your voice plus a buzzing noise. The only difference is that Michael WInslow can make the buzzing sound sound like an electric guitar. YOu might not be able to do it, and that's why he's famous, because his voice allows him to do it.
