Nov 18, 2008 - I am very good at many things, this is just something that brings me down and makes it hard to do the things I am good at.

Nov 18, 2008 - I have worked with disabled people for about 6 years. I started off working at a rec center for adults with cognitive disabilities and then I moved on to being a line therapist for small children with autism. My favorite out of both was working with the autistic children. It puts you in check and makes you realize how lucky you are.

Nov 18, 2008 - (part 2 of comment)All of this would allow you to be such a great contributor. Also, we NEED people who want to work in the mental health field. Think about this. It might be something different on which to focus. In the meantime, I wish you lovely thoughts and a strong spirit. :-)

Nov 18, 2008 - Your videos are so inspiring and full of hope. i wanted to note that i understand the control you were talking about in this one. the anorexia gives you such a strong feeling of control and feeling "okay" and "put-together" and "everything-is-alright" as long as i keep this in control and it's like a power rush and you don't want to lose it, you want to hold onto it as long as possible by not eating/eating too much, b/c that will mess everything up or make that feeling go away. so you don't eat
ceruleanmagenta Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - also, i gave this video 5 sparkly stars b/c you made some excellent points and all of it was so true. i admire you for looking out and wanting to respect that numbers and weights do trigger some(who let it). that is very perceptive of you and respectful too. you are very smart and considerate. you are a sweetheart.

Nov 18, 2008 - When you go out places do people say things to you about your figure? When I do people are always like "OMG! EWW! you need help!"I mean, I understand their concern and their just trying to help, but it's really none of their business...
MyOwnStickFigure Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Yes, they do. I get a ton of shit, generally people accuse me of having cancer or aids, it's very rude. I stand up for myself and don't let it hinder my recovery... which is the best thing we can do. I pray for them as well too. I am glad you stick up for yourself too. Be cautious, the anoretic mind loves to take these reactions as a compliment, show yourself who is boss... YOU!

Nov 18, 2008 - Awh, You really do make me smile. I totally understand what you mean about the scales, i totally get confused with the numbers and the fact my mind freaks out when it's something i don't want to see. I really hope you get through this, you have such a strong mind.
chesserchet Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - maybe you should try being really good at something else.
