Nov 18, 2008 - maly vue or ma lee vue or whatever how you spell her name in english is a hmong-american female singer from the 90's. she's from spokan, washington, but moved to california. i've been told she cheated on her husband with her brother-in-law, that's why she wrote the song: "Mob Mob Wb Lub Siab" which is a hmong version of that movie Top Gun theme song called "Take My Breath Away." she really was pretty back in the 90's. now no one knows where she is anymore.

Nov 18, 2008 - you can get the original one of her singing from any public library in Sacramento, Califoria, or Fresno, California, or from whatever library where there are Hmong people. just type "Beautiful Hmong China" into the library material search box, and you will find her video and cassette. all original.

Nov 18, 2008 - Does anyone know where Mim Haam is from? I have been all over China and can't seem to track down "Our Hmong" speaking Hmong people. I'd imagine that Mim Haam and others like her are from Wenshan, Yunnan, but not sure. If anyone knows, please do respond.

Nov 18, 2008 - i don't think she has an accent. it's the original language. at one point in time, we all spoke the same language, same accent, etc...it's just that when the migration to Indochina took place, new surroundings and contact with new people developed new accents and such.
