"They did not expect me to take the discussion to history and especially not to religion," Kedar told Israel National News. But discuss religion he did in the above video, reminding his interviewer that Jerusalem was not mentioned even once in the Koran and saying directly in fluent Arabic that "Jerusalem is not on the negotiating table," and that "Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, period.""This was very aggravating" for the Al-Jazeera interviewer, Kedar explained, "because in the Islamic view, Islam came into the world to replace Judaism and Christianity, not to live side by side with them. And here, all of a sudden, the Jews are coming from exile and building their state again and G-d forbid they also regained Jerusalem." Judaism is thus regaining its meaning, and Islam is challenged by this, the Bar-Ilan professor explained. "The mere existence of the State of Israel and the fact that we are in Jerusalem is some kind of challenge to the legitimacy of Islam in their eyes," Kedar explained."This is not pro-Israel public relations," Dr. Kedar told Israel National News. "This is a battle for the Arab heart, which Israel is apparently losing because Israel gave up on the main tool which should have served it, which is an independent Israeli Zionist satellite channel in Arabic." Many Arabs, he said, would consider changing their views if such a channel were available.

Nov 18, 2008 - the terror issue.. and more then the political terror, I'm talking about personal security in Jerusalem. I live in Jerusalem, and I don't know one jew who dare enter arab neighborhood. my girlfriend hardly goes by herself after dark, because we live near them.. this situation cannot continue. if they don't feel like Israelis, let them go to hell, or Palastain.. see if they like it, living with their brothers.. in two days they'll be coming back looking for jobs.

Nov 18, 2008 - same old story we had with Gaza, Han Yunes, Ramallah, Nablus and Hebron, not to mention the villages in the west bank.. they fight us with such hate and passion, yet keep coming to our boarder (wich the world know as the reknown "check points"), asking to enter Israel (wich they hate so much right) to work. only work? do you realise my taxes are financing the electricity, gas and water supply in f***ing Gaza strip, where rokets are shot from every day? it's freaking crazy isn't it? why?

Nov 18, 2008 - So the West Bank doesn't belong to anyone and that's why Israeli tanks and bulldozers can go in there, tear down the homes of Arab farmers and build illegal settlements there. Nice logic.The fact is that the West Bank belong to the people who live there - namely, Muslim Arabs who constitute more than 95% of the population there. Also, East Jerusalem is distinct demographically from the rest of Israel and just because Mr. Mordachai says something doesn't make it a fact.
