STOPBATH777 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes on the S. side near Rock Point Wy. Do you know is this a training machine?

braddsn Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - VERY cool!!

gfriedline Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I kinda doubt that any mining company would have the money to spend on using this machine as a trainer. Its a rather large Bucyrus. I think that trainers are ussually much smaller maybe around 10-30 yd3 range. This machine costs a lot of money to be running, so it is most likely doing something important, either stripping a seam, or reclaiming a past one.

Nov 18, 2008 - you want something expensive to run try using a bucket chain excavator.....

ditto1957 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Looks like B&E 1250 dragline. "Git-R-Dug"

craigercj Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - B&E 1570, 80 yds, "Badger". Not a trainer. Looks like it's digging the boxcut on that new pit that opened a year or so ago.

STOPBATH777 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Thanks for the up-date. The way the operator was letting the drag cables slap together I figured he was a new-b.Denny

ba22acuda Says:
