The full-length sweded version of the 80s classic, Neverending Story. Created by Brandon Todd and Brian Simpson over the course of 4 weekends. I'm guessing a total budget of 25 dollars and cut using a Mac. (dang yeah) Die Unendliche Geschichte!

Nov 18, 2008 - i cannot believe that this video has not got more views than it has. it is HILARIOUS! i never knew about this 'swede' thing - i was just searching for neverending story when i found this. So after i learnt what the swede meant i searched for others and they are complete crap in comparison. great work on this one guys (oh and my favourite part is the dog/wolf jumping out of the box and attacking atreyu lol!) :D:D

Nov 18, 2008 - oh and i have to leave another comment seconding the idea to do labyrinth! it would be so funny!!

Nov 18, 2008 - we're thrilled that you like it so much. I would absolutely love to do Labyrinth. I know that film inside and out. However, I think that it would be technically very difficult to pull off. NEStory was a good choice because it had a few, simple, settings and not that many characters. I do wish we had more views, but I understand that NEStory falls way behind in pop culture (when compared to Jurassic Park or Terminator 2) thanks for your comments!!!

Nov 18, 2008 - I read that book about 10 years ago when I was sick and missed about a week of school. Awesome book. Awesome book. The sad thing though is that this sweded version probably has a higher budget than the actual movie. Didn't cut out as much either.Hilarious. Very well done.
darfnader Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - haha. Thanks for the props. And because of inflation, yes, our budget was about 423 million dollars higher than the 80s film. We really didn't know if we could afford those Pop Rocks. Somehow we managed... and the rest is history.
