Nov 18, 2008 - Not all metals are magnetic. Only ferrous metals are (like iron or steel). The magnets aren't strong enough to really do much damage, unless you would happen to get your hand stuck in between 2 of them. The magnetic field around these drops off after 6-8 inches or so.
