Nov 18, 2008 - They didnt take the show off air because it wasn't popular, it was at the height of popularity when they finished the series. They finished it because the producers/writers had enough integrity not to ruin the series by being greedy. That's why the series is so well rounded when you compare it with the us version. I enjoy both versions for their entertainment but from a comedic point of view the uk version is put together and arranged much better.
