Nov 18, 2008 - i think in the story it is around halloween time : \, not sure though. Could also be that she is one of the last to die and like Rika in Higurashi, keeps reliving it over and over again. just a theory though

Nov 18, 2008 - The story takes place on October 4th and 5th, so it's kinda close to Halloween but not that close. I also doubt that Ryukishi07 would use the same exact storyline with Maria as he did with Rika...I believe that beyond the door this message was found on, there was something rather gruesome that was found. Though, I haven't played Episode 2 yet and if I do type what I think I know then it'd be a little too spoilerific. ^^;
