PeregrinusFalco Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Although the welding thing is cool, I'm not sure that having 3-5 gallons of liquid oxygen 1-3 feet away from an open flame would be all that safe.

herzenskalt Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - indeed. ^^

clearthinker23 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - does anyone know what this liquid was?

dodgev2006 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - agreed LOL

n00kii Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - It's liquid oxygen ...read the description ,little buddy :)

bh70 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Why not? It's oxygen, not benzin.

bh70 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Dear TheTvelvethMonkey, it was brass, not copper ;)

blazerblast Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - t2 music

davis2901 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - as long as an electric current can pass through what it is your welding with, the metal recieveing the current or 'arc' will melt and 'weld'. so tobacco oatmeal whatever. it has little to do with a cigs content that makes it a more suitable substance for welding than a pencil diped in liquid nitrogen.

Davemademan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - COOL!!! At least we can smoke at the job, nice T2 music.

LongIslandEddie Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Remind me not to dip my Marlboro in Liquid Oxygenbefore I put it into my copper plated lips, light it with a blowtorch and smoke it.

Fentanyl3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - you could take any pourous object, and do exactly the same thing with it, if it were dipped in LOX, you could use your own finger if you managed to get it wet enough with LOX mind you your finger would serve much purpose afterwards.

HastaFatum Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - LMFAO.

bamwa Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - hello, there is a blowtorch facing the copper. it could melt through on it's own. he moves it then moves it back. watch closely. the cig might be hot but the torch is what causes the melt-through.

soylentgreenb Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - A butane blow-torch cannot melt copper on it's own.

xesogycit Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - that blowtorch didn't have enough heat to melt copper - you could tell because it was burning so slowly. when the blue part comes to a fine point and the orange part shoots out a ways is when you could melt the metal, at the level that flame was at it'd take a while just to get it to a glow
