Jul 7, 2008 - this song is so amazing. it makes me think about birds trying to fly, like when it goes all quiet, they're falling or something. really great {highfive}

Jul 7, 2008 - She makes the strangest faces. She's still cute.
sombermike Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - there are moments where she looks like she is playing at the very edge of her musical limit, I guess what I want to say is that she is definitely putting some serious effort into playing this song. truly amazing!
johndela1 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - you can't play something sloppy and have it sound good unless you can play it solidly. What you call Hedrix's slop is how he choose to play. You can see slop that is due to lack of skill and it comes across different than Hendrix...
torturer6067 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - eh dont talk bull!i have 4 thumbs down from people who know nothing about guitar playing. playing sloppy doesnt mean you are not a good musician, just not a good guitar player and it is widely accepted that Hendrix was a sloppy guitar player just like ZappaYou can dissagree but thats not to something to argue! Herman Li is a sloppy guitar player and you can take it as granted! Its not a matter of choice! Sloppynes is like maths. Not subjective! Some people dont understand that
johndela1 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - If it is like math, how exactly do you measure it?I do play guitar and play sloppy but before I can play sloppy with feel I must be able to play it cleanly and under complete control or it will sound like crap when played even if I play sloppy. You can think what you want, I hope you at least consider what I'm saying. I'm not saying many people like Hendrix don't play sloppy, just that they are doing that under there control and not because they lack the skill to do it any other way.
torturer6067 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - what youve said is the biggest nonsene ive read in my life! sloppynes is not a way of playing. it is simply the lack of control and it comes from incorrect practice or no practice att all!compare his palying to guthrie govans or frank gambales or shawn lanes...youll se what imsaying. sloppy is when some string ring out when u play an arpeggio or just type in Herman Li and youll knowwhat im talking about
johndela1 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Just because you are not fully aware of people like hendrix do don't bag on it. We simply disagree, there isn't much more to say. You believe differntly than me, that is ok.People will kill for beliefs... I don't take it personal that you believe something that I don't.Does it at all make sense to you that some people especially blues players, play sloppy on purpose under full control? I have worked with great musicians that try to get me to understand this for years. It is what is done.
torturer6067 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Its wird that you actualy beleive that blues players intentionaly play sloppy! From waht i know and beleive me ive read books about jazz,blues,rock,fusion,metal...its that blues and jazz GP cover thair sloppynes in clean tone as you might alredy know. Overdrive brings the ringing of unwanted string to the surface and clean tone hides it.Johnson and many other blues palyer paly clean! Whilist Melvin Taylor plays very sloppy but from the concerts ive been to he lack technique. And thats my point
torturer6067 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Dont get me wrong im not trying to convince you to beleive that but i think someone misslead you into thinking so. BB King said that he can not paly fast, so he decided to play as cleanly as possible, so does SRV and Clapton. But some players are just lazy and have all kinds of excuses for bad tecniques
johndela1 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I agree. Some are like this and you can tell. Some people are masters of the guitar and express them selves differently that you would. I know some world class musicians that have taught me to play sloppy after first learning it cleanly. Many peolple confusing style with skill. I don't think Hendrix was lazy and had all kinds of excuses
torturer6067 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - ok. im going to bed its 5 AM here!cheers
HardcoverBee Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Why does it seem like I see more negative comments on Kaki King more than I do on male slap guitarists?
photopicker Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - a lot of degrassi in that sound here ... slow circle cd influence like white rain
skatefarmerftw Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - because she isnt as good basically.
HardcoverBee Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I can honestly say that I do not like Kaki King. But I hate how people are downing here just because she's a girl. It's funny how some guys are shitting their pants because someone with boobs can play better than they can. Even I'll admit that I suck compared to this girl.
lucadepu Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - she tunes dadada. stupid.
HernanCorera Says:

trewdab3 Says:
