Excerpt from a concert of Ashish Sankrityayan - Dhrupad singer of the Dagar Bani the Friedenspalast Sophienstrasse Hannover in March 2007. The concert was in natural accoustics without the use of mikes and amplification. This is part of an alap in raga lalit ( madhya laya or moderate tempo) followed by a fragment of a talk on the vedic chantings. The pakhawaj player in this concert is Udhav Shinde Apegaonkar.
