Nov 18, 2008 - could these two explain this in a more boring way? Geez I wouldn't want 2 learn 2 dance from these geeks.

marzsc Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - good mechanistic views of the dance. good to see a start of dance teaching revolution. just like argentine tango started off as informal teaching to the now systemic teaching in the form of tango nuevo, exploring the mechanisms of axis and weight. well done.

kdallons Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - wow that was so boring...I know they are trying to be very precise and technical, but I'd try to make things a little more fun at first...this seems like the only people who would actually appreciate a lot of what they say is some dance buffs-not the average joe/jane that thinks it would be fun to learn swing. Make it entertaining, laid back and energetic!

Bleu0403 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Actually if this is for complete begginers, this is GREAT. If you think that begginers should just be taught the basic figures and tricks right away, you clearly know nothing about the core stuff of lindy hop, like Arm Tension when dancing and how to maintain a solid shoulder posture. Same applies for posture. What's the point on learning complicated stuff if you lack the tension and balance to use your body weight to comunicate an oncoming whip? Please people, don't be ignorant.

Nov 18, 2008 - Good fundamentals. This is important before going on to the rest. Hey, you can skip all this and just be good, or you can spend the necessary time to be the best! Your choice.

Nov 18, 2008 - Yay, this was so well explained and clear! thanks for being willing to go into the veeeery basic elements for us beginners. it helps a great deal.

ErdTirdMans Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No it doesn't. If you name your company glaxosmiTHKliNe, the internationally-known GlaxoSmithKline could almost certainly sue you.If you have some issue with their use of iDance, have the owner of the other iDance file a law suit against them proving that either:1) Your iDance has a national trademark on the use of that name,2) That the success of your iDance company inherently grants it such a trademark3) That this iDance knowingly used the name to reap the benefits of your iDance

ErdTirdMans Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - 4) That this iDance AND your iDance are competing on a national level and thus, because yours was established first (if it was), your naming takes precedenceAnd most important of all, that you (or the relevant iDance owner you are complaining on behalf of here) sent a written request explaining your grievance and seeking an out-of-court resolution from your office, with date (certified mail) and this iDance refused to cooperate. And they already have a prima facie defense since they
