Nov 18, 2008 - Hagler waited for fighters to move up to him. That is very mediocre. Duran Leonard Hearns Mugabi ALL MOVED UP. He found his little niche and was frightened to move beyond it. He was chicken shit scared to fight Spinks. Obviously Hagler felt comfortable fighting smaller guysHeck he's not even the best middleweight. Monzon has a better record and Robinson is rated best. Duran is an absolute legend his achievements dwarf HaglersDuran is top 10 while Hagler is not. You should learn why this is so

Nov 18, 2008 - your right, hearns for example had a large frame which is why he kept on moving up. and i agree tyson was to strong for hagler. tyson had the speed and lattler movement of a middleweight, but with far more punching power than hearns & mmugabi. but hagler could hold his own with tyson 4 7 rounds until being ko by a tyson uppercut. but in hagler prime he may have been able to go the distance & win a decission. there was a time when hagler could box like leonard, watch the best of marvin hagler
