Chicago 1964, what a time to be a kid, we liked everything... It was ALL GOOD, not like today- where everything is your music and mine, It was OUR music, All of it! Too bad that's gone now, sad.

Nov 18, 2008 - This is why Bobby Womack is known as "The Poet." And after 35 years of being touched emotionally whenever listening to this song, I find out just a few minutes ago that Bobby Womack is talking about his own murdered brother. It's a no brainer; Bobby Womack's induction to the R n R Hall of Fame this year is a shoo-in.

Nov 18, 2008 - When I hear this song I think about my friend Rob who I was stationed with a Nellis AFB in 1969-1973. Rob was from Pahokee Florida. He was on the run 24 hours a day and gave the Air Force on 2 or three of them. We used to ride around in his tr4 sports listening to Bobby Womack because he was his favorite singer. I miss you Rob.

Nov 18, 2008 - Wow!!! Timeless. Bobby actually wrote this song about his brother who lived in LA. Transferred his life into a beautiful music like this. Iguess Harry wasn't so bad after all. Oh!, his brother's name was not Harrie
