Nov 18, 2008 - what press?? i didnt hear or read about it anywhere....spare me the "biggest names" crap, shes been prasied by "full of shit" simon, and other celebs fueled by the hype that surrounded her win, its all bullshit, where did it get her? a failed debut,a failed record deal....see my point????
ragdump Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Wow talk about full of shit, your eye's are brown
ragdump Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Isn't that something, Bianca being asked to sing at Quincy Jones event wasn't good enough for disco, one of the most famous people in the recording industry still isn't good enough, sing for the President wasn't good enough, singing in Las Vegas at Plant Hollywood wasn't good enough, singing at Disney World's Christmas Parade wasn't good enough, winning the largest talent search in the world wasn't good enough, what high standards you must have
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - what i would find impressive is if quincy jones took bianca under his wing the way david foster took charice...THAT WOULD BE IMPRESSIVE
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - all the above you mention were part of "multiple performers", you inferred that its just bianca at these performances, its not. shes 1 of many, as always...she cant carry a show on her own, unless its, you guessed it....TBN...
ragdump Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - That's right Trinity broadcasting network Bianca's own half hour special broadcast world wide and featured entertain at the Six Billion Paths To Peace in New York
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - raoddump, religious themed shows polarize audiences....people that watch or participate dont buy records
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - roaddump this may interest you, i just heard on 90.7 here in south jersey, an interview on NPR, with speacial guest the "Q man" himself..it was a 20 minute interview he mentioned "the quincy jones foundation", and everything about it, he never mentioned little miss overrated...now, was miss ryan actually performing?? or was she just invited as an audience guest???
guitarrr09 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Bianca, the jonas brothers, and Brad from band Annasay are among my favorite singers
holywells Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Actually, "CriscoDisco79", they do purchase gospel albums. There are stores dedicated to articles of religion in most large cities and one of their biggest sellers is the gospel music albums they stock. A lot of the artists who have been on the popular music charts were also known for the gospel albums they made. Because of your music background, I'm sure you are aware of some of their names. Most of the big religious shows have an area set aside in the building for music and movie sales.
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - gospel is classified as a niche-genre, occasionaly some gospel oriented artists do cross over, but its rare...their overall album sales are small
holywells Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Every time I think about the music artists from the past who have sold a lot of gospel albums I am reminded of Elvis' gospel albums that went to "platinum" status. One of them earned him a Grammy award. From a recording and sound perspective, they had some of the best clarity and truest fidelity of any music ever recorded and are held in the highest regard by a lot of audiophiles. Felton Jarvis will live forever as the king of record producers.
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - holywells, elvis presley was classified a "pop artist", the "pop" music industry was still young, there werent nearly as many genres and sub-genres that exist today, elvis is more of an exception to the rule, as is madonna today, most artsts couldnt get away with the the style of music that madonna produces, its lightweight post disco fluff, who else in modern day pop can make a retro disco album that sells 3 million copies? (confessions on a dance floor)...most predicted madonna would fade
CriscoDisco79 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - madonna is the elvis of taday, she could probably do any kind of musical genre, and it would be successful, same as presley...these are icons and exceptions to many industry rules...

Nov 18, 2008 - biancas performing in philly at a "heroes" concert, its evident that 2nd rate performers thrive at these type of benefits and the like, probably because they have cheap fees, or they just dont get paid at all...shes with none other than the "soul cruisers"??????? i mean really...
Stettiletti Says:
