Nov 18, 2008 - Masterpiece. Literally a contender for the most complete song EVER.The lyrics are still 100% relevant (more so, given all the shit going on in the world and people's ignorance and apathy), and musically this song has so much energy, integrity, class and depth, that this is the seminal James song for me.Tim Booth, Larry Gott and Jim Glennie, an oasis of talent in a desert of mediocrity and cynical popularism in music.

Nov 18, 2008 - there are some amazing tunes to be found throughout the x files. i remember finding out about about this great little band called nick cave and the bad seeds lol from one second season episode. you just gotta give it to chris carter he's got great musical sense and he knows exactly when to use a good licensed song instead of the the signature x files music(also great)to really highlight the scene. jack black being fried to filter's "hey man nice shot" is a good example.

BossRatt Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I also, first heard this song on the x-files. Great episode with upcoming stars Jack Black and Giovanni Ribisi

happiertimesahead Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This is the most complete song EVER. The lyrics are as deep as your imagination and research into reality permit. In these "troubled" times, they are more valid than ever.It now seems incredible that in a mere decade the entire music scene, and public at large, have become totally dumbed down. I suppose every generation has been thinking the same thing for the past 300 years...Thank God for James - an oasis of pure talent in a sea of total shit.

dangela81 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I think, though I've been married for some years now, this may be, among many other things, the most liberating break up song as well as a social awakening song. When you let me fall, grew my own wings, now I'm as tall as the skyWhen you let me drown, grew gills and fins, now I'm as deep as the seaWhen you let me die, my spirit's free, there's nothing challenging me
