Nov 18, 2008 - Stovepipe! That is the .....hands-down.....best waterspout video I have ever seen. The storm looks like a supercell over water, and the tornado looks far from being your typical "waterspout." Yet this only gets classified as a non-mesocyclonic tornado...a waterspout. They need different terms.

Nov 18, 2008 - No, the commentator dude says that one of the crew members remembers the '98 race (as if it was in the past). so it seems like this one was after 98. And from what I've seen/read about the 98 race, the wind looked pretty calm in this one; of course, other than the waterspout
