And to Mr Dave, reading a lot more and looking at both sides will do much in correcting his alleged ignorance, you don't even need to have suggestion for that. And besides, compare to me the circumstances of this signing and then the interpretation of those who signed te document rather than having it interpreted by an outside source not privy to the proceedings.

This means that the only direct 'descendant' of the Church Christ started is in fact the Roman Catholic Church (if that is what you mean by 'true'). Please look up facts before attacking Catholics. Even though the changes made to the original Creed are used by the Catholic Church, the RC Church still fully recognizes the old text of the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed officially. However the change was still approved (even though opposed) by Pope Leo III. It is merely a different custom Western churches practice. There were a great number of issues which together caused the Schism. The change to the text was surely not the only reason.
