Nov 18, 2008 - Everybody ain't old like McBush!Obama is young,smart and presidential,there's nothing to be ashame about,...right?

provita Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The two-party system is a joke. Both "main" candidates are for preemptive warfare, interventionism, fiat currency, bigger government, a welfare state, a pseudo-free market, more bureaucracy, more spending, and do not even begin to talk about civil liberties on a respectable scale.

rhenry501 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Not "looking like and angry troll" But as letting his mask slip so that you can see the angry troll....under the fake nice guy renagde shit heel.

Aznburninator Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Compared to Laura Bush? Pfft.

WKaliber1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - compared to keri hilson

Hopeful71 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Being in favor of a strong military and wanting to USE that military are two different ideas. The term "anti-war" has different meanings to different people. A lot who define themselves as such still support WWII. By that same point, plenty of us supported the war in Afghanistan but not Iraq. ie, anti-Bush doctrineSo yes, plenty of us do understand his position and find it reasonable and judicious

tmsbry Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - so vote for some idiot with no hope of winning a vote for nader is a vote for mccain a vote for barr is a vote for obama, if you really want to a 3 or 4 party system give money or get involved at grassroots but when in comes to the vote, vote intelligent instead of your with your heart

SwobyJ Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Election may be canceled anyway *whistles away

omarhea1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - go Obama

provita Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The thing is, as I have just said, on the major issues both candidates are practically alike. I'm a non-interventionist who wants sound money, far lesser government oversight, spending, taxing, and control. Less bureaucracy, and true civil liberties in a real free-market capitalist society. Neither "main" candidates offer anything on those issues. If people started voting intelligently, and not treating this whole thing as a horse race and vote for who will win, we might see some actual change.

provita Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - WWII was justified because Germany and Japan attacked us. How on earth did Afghanistan attack us? Iraq? Or how about how we have hundreds of bases and hundreds of thousands of troops in "sovereign" nations all over the world? Obama doesn't even acknowledge our massive militarism globally. I just don't know how it is judicious or reasonable to occupy a country and tell them what to do. We would be against it, and so will every other country (see: Philippines).

tmsbry Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i agree with you but look at great britain has 4 main parties labour, conservative, lib dem & BNP 2 mainstream 2 far right/left parties, truth is what you're looking can never be achieved there's no such thing as perfect free-market capitalism the same way socialist communism doesn't exist

xusword Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Could someone remind me why McCain or Palin is more relatable than this guy?

Hopeful71 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Stick to points I "defend" please. I never defended Iraq. Afghanistan was far from a sovereign nation but a territory run by thugs who did attack us. You can argue we should not have gone to Afghanistan but it far from the same illegal & immoral "war" we had with Iraq.Should we have bases all over the world? I don't believe so but (and I understand RP disagrees) we need to address one F' up at a time. Getting out of Iraq is the top of that list.

Hopeful71 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - But for the record-Germany & Italy did not formally attack us but were party of pact that tied the wars together (simplistic but accurate).

brawnymike Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - provita,Of course, defining life as beginning at conception would make abortions illegal! Defining a fertilized egg as a living person AUTOMATICALLY makes abortion MURDER under the law. Don't you get that? Not only would it make abortion IN ALL CASES murder, it would similarly criminalize any form of contraception which prevents the fertilized egg from attaching to the wall of the uterus (i.e., from becoming truly viable).

kwestyunz Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Keep up the good work, President Obama!

ZagreusNZ Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No but they did declare war on the US.

IG2HI Says:

IG2HI Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I'm finally glad someone has the gumption to set the record straight about Ron Paul. Thank you.

IG2HI Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - You just called it right.
