Nov 18, 2008 - Boxing and MMA are 2 totally different disciplines friend. I have done both and the training regime is totally different for each sport. The focal points of boxing are my footwork, headmovement, handspeed, co-ordination and such but with MMA I work on grappling, BJJ and always look to perfect my ground game. You can't practice arm bars and triangles. As a specctator you CAN compare the 2 but as an athlete they are worlds apart.

Also read Joe's biography 'smokin joe' Joe tells you on his book how fucking hard and difficult Ali was. Frazier couldn't piss, eat ,move he was light headed and his head was so sore that he said he spent an entire day in a sink with cold water running through his head. Also ALI literally blinded smoking joe during the fight so have some respect.
