Nov 18, 2008 - I only succeed to reach high notes (over C7) when my vocal chords are relaxed.. on the morning for example..or when I didn't talk for a while.. if I try now.. at the end of the day.. I only reach f6... :( is it normal? It takes time to control it? I work on this only from two months more or less... please answer me.

spideyy3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - well i did the same thing once. Its not good if your throat hurts because your singing from your throat. Sing from your stomach. think of breathing threw a balloon. Chest, head of stomach your should feel.the Throat is bad cause you can permanentaly destroy your vocal chord.

spideyy3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - yes thats normal. cause your voice wears out at the end of the day. depending on your sleep as well. 12 hours of sleep helps the vocal chords dramatically. If you stay on a schedule to get 12 hours of sleep. watch how easy low and high notes are.

Nov 18, 2008 - Has posture ever occurred to you!???? dude! all of the videos with the students are the same- they all start with TERRIBLE posture!

loveologism Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - ...if he can sing like that sitting in a chair... ..Great stuff!

Nov 18, 2008 - Yeah, this guy clearly needs advice when it comes to singing. That was sarcasm.

Nov 18, 2008 - Thanx For Making This Vid, Very Infomatave Plus Very Interesting.

zozodale Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - if i went into a singing exam or any instrument exam and stood/sat with terrible posture then i would have marks deducted for bad presentation... of course there are reasons why posture effects your singing but i don't want to be seen as "giving advice"unlike brett- ppl at home may not have had professional training which means that they are going to mimick anything he does. brett sings very well when slouched in a chair- others are not necessarily so lucky

Kedmonds Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I've been practising my whistle for a few months now and I can only get a faint sound! Is this normal at the start? I wan't to gain more control over my whistle, make the sound stronger, softer, bigger, smaller and always available everytime I want to use my whistle! It's really tiring! Is there someone who can give me advise! Someone who've been pratising whistle using this approach and got good results! (If Brett is just busy!) Thanks in Advance Peace!

coccinelsucrer Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This video is not about posture, he is explaining us things about the whistle register and if he had to concentrate about the posture he'd just make another video about that.

coccinelsucrer Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Whoaw that guy is awsome, he's just there sitting on his confortable chair reaching high notes as if it was something everybody did in the everyday life lOlI have a lil question thoughI didn't think about trying out the whistle register till previous month, and i been able to reach high notes...But they mostly came out as squeeks or a "faint sound ", is it normal? Does it mean i'll never be able to or is it just because i just started an my voice has to get used to it?

Nov 18, 2008 - I can do the whistle, but I don't think it's properly developed. I can't always do it. I'm not sure what that means.

MsDreama25 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - If you have the singing success program, you can email them with the question. They get back to you quickly, usually within 1-2 days in my experience.
