Nov 18, 2008 - My pleasure! :o) Bel canto is still alive and well with Kasarova, Vargas, and their colleagues, ay? Happy New Year!

Nov 18, 2008 - SDCmorg -- Happy New Year to you too, and thanks always for your great service to music. Indeed, Kasarova, Vargas and other fine bel canto artists along with true advocates like you will keep this art alive for everyone to enjoy. If it's not too much of a bother, could you please post one of my favorites from these marvelous artists - the duet "M'abbraccia,Argirio" from Rossini's TANCREDI with K & V. Will appreciate very much this favor at your convenience.

Nov 18, 2008 - Hey, you can't drop just yet! We haven't heard Frau Kasarova as Carmen yet. You've gotta wait at least 4 more months! ;o)

Nov 18, 2008 - They're incredible. *_*Btw, what are these screenshots from, where VK is in the hall with columns?

SDCmorg Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Hiya Arashi! Those are from the same documentary with that video clips of her as Romeo in Paris, matie. The earlier part of the program sees her rehearsing Idomeneo with Jon Miller and Deon Van Der Walt. The room with mirror and columns is the entrance hall to Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. :o)
