During Josipa Lisac's lengthy career, she has never been a frequent visitor to numerous musical festivals in ex-Yugoslavia and after that, Croatia. She usually appeared on them for the purposes of promoting new albums and her 1999 CD 'Zivot' ('Life') was no exception.This clip comes from the 2000 Zadar music festival, where Josipa appeared with the song 'Pjesma za tebe' ('The song for you'). The song got the third place in the final order, plus it had the distinctive feature of its duration -- six and a half minutes, which is quite uncommon for songs presented on such festivals.The music was written by the late Karlo Metikos, Ivica Krajac supplied the lyrics and Gojko Tomljanovic did the orchestrations, with the help of the late maestro Igor Kuljeric for the strings. One should also mention Josipa's beautiful make up and dress (among my own personal favorites), plus the gracious bow with a smile she did at the end of this clip.
