Nov 18, 2008 - Anybody get sick of the "mullet-shot" camera angle whenever he did something really cool?

bigfatpisdik Says:

ESPXGuitarist Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - damn right man...he obviously knows exactly what hes doing and the fact that he's capturing the sounds with a start makes it better

Lemming16 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Eric Johnson is possibly the only man who can use a mullet and not look like a jackass. It looks awesome on him actually

StrykerTStrykerton Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yeah cause ur too caught up in the whole "Les pauls or nuttin" trend thats been goin for like 15 years now......strats have a completly dif tone i love that he uses one

wonderlama6 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Clearly the guy is phenomenally gifted in a technical sense, but he just plays too many notes. No doubt he knows his stuff as well as anyone, he just has a case of diarrea fingers - lots comin' out but no substance.

riftguitar Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Strats are just better :)Les Pauls just isn't equally nice to play on.

Clintng14 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i still dont know how he does it like i'm saying it'll probley take me to do my best to play this song but he makes all the notes easy like i can play about above normal guitarest level

TaKeItLiKaMaN Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Says the guy who's a fan of the shittiest guitar player ever.

urheadonastick Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Buckets good but he cant compose anywhere near as good as eric.

Highairboarder Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - strat sux

hellattack23 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i have both les paul and a strat they r both nice to play on. strat has a slightly better sound but something about a les paul just has a great feel to it

ShaneRaweewon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I like strat-styles but I also take for a LesPaul style. I don't particularly like the Gibson/Epiphone LPs for lead guitar because it was heavier and bulky towards the higher frets. I do like the ESP/LTD EC series because they're thin necks, 25 XJ frets, and have the LP-style. (I prefer 25 frets because it makes higher playing a bit more comfortable and clean.)

platecrumb Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I rate him right up there with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Healey. That man is a guitar wizard.

wihaga83 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - same here !

ViktorVR Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The thin necks don't make you play fast that's a myth.all you play depends on you skill.and de Gibson's Lp can be balanced the only secret is balance your tones whit the volume and tone knobs and ofcourse the switch.and I dont like the Srat's because you can play heavy whit them that kind of guitars have an output limits.

ShaneRaweewon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I never said thin necks make you play fast, I just said it's more comfortable. And yes a guitar doesn't make a musician, the skill derives from the musician solely who is able to use the instrument to it's fullest capabilities. And I never said anything about the Gibson LP's tone... I do like it but I prefer it only for rhythm work. And the Strats don't have to be entirely heavy- when I use the neck pickups I get a very warm tone from it which I use for clean/leads.

korvlada Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - your right he is wrong
