Nov 18, 2008 - well I can agree that the narrator is an idiot... he seems to think that since the train isn't touching anything that there's no friction... there may not be tons but air friction is always present, and I assume it has drag as well

Minato2003 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - sugoi ne!

onoharahigashi Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - methinks....mebbe the germans invented the technology and all.....but left it to the Japanese to build a hot train out of it :-0

panajachel12 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - those thingas are not trains those are monster trains

phantom380 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - In 2001 Germany sold it's maglev technology to Japan. By 2003 the Japanese had perfected that technology to break a world record

giroppon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - you're an idiot.------History of JR maglev* 1962 Initial technology research was started.* 1977 The experiment run was started at Miyazaki tracks.* 1997 The experiment run was started at Yamanashi tracks (MLX01) on April.

Nov 18, 2008 - THe only maglev train in operation today is german built.

pajo1982 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - 3000. There is a skyline train that will do 3500MPH

titsxyxyxyxtits Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - German Technology, Nice, Patent by Herman Kemper 1922. Germans sold there Technology 2003 to Japan.

eikadonna Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Germany don't have the technology of Maglev trains run by supercondoctor magnets.Superconductor magnets are much more powerful than normal electric magnets but unstable.Germany have never developed and tested Maglev with superconductors. So they could not sell the technology which they don't have.

ShredByDeath Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The elites when it comes to train speeds and fast trains have to be the french and the japanese

wertrocks123 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - giroppon got this off of Wikipedia, i expect. A website of misinformation however, i think be might be right.

wertrocks123 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I don't see the point in having to spend so much money on maglevs when the french can build a coventional railed train that can go just 7km/h slower.

stropsomsoc100 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - >I don't see the point in having to spend so much money on maglevs. What politicians in Japan insist is similar. "Until Shinkansen of the coventional railed train being constructed in the throat country of domestic part, these kind of things will not be permitted by us absolutely ."

efef5t Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - hahahha. phantom380, you are a shame of your county. hahha.

anfenn Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - When you have rails it means you need to keep replacing them. If the train floats on air there is no contact with the rail which means you never have to replace the track.

phantom380 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - In 2001 Germany sold it's maglev technology to Japan. By 2003 the Japanese had perfected that technology to break a world record I got 6 negative marks for that comment. but I stand by it, do your research!

giroppon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - what kind of technology did the germany sell to japan in 2001 ??????????? tell me plz!! Do you even know JR-Maglev and German-Tranrapid are completely different technologies?

phantom380 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - listen, dont go talking out of your ass. all i'm saying is that germany sold its tech. to japan. however japan converted that technology and made it their own is beyond me. I'm sure the japanese used that tech in some way, otherwise they wouldn't have bought it. get your pride out of your ass and maybe you could realize that fact

giroppon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - once again... What technologies did Germany sell? Why can't you answer this quite simple question?

populierendreef Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - it's typical japanese.spend a lot of money for fun. the train is awfully expensive in every way.that's why the germans sold it. a high speed like that has also many risks. the germans wouldn't take that risk.japan doesn't care; they got the fastest train. they like records..............
