This is my review of the GekiChanger from the Super Sentai series GekiRanger. This is the current series airing in Japan. The theme is centered around martial arts and inner power known as GekiJyuken. GekiJyuken is practiced by the followers of good, and RinJyuken is power used by evil. The GekiChanger is a two-piece changer that allows the GekiRangers to control their GekiJyuken and use it as power. Their mechas are a perfect example of this power. The GekiChanger comes with 4 bands. 2 are used for the tops of each piece, and 2 are used for the bottom. There are 3 buttons on the main piece, and only a small compartment on the other. The electronics and features of the changer come from the main piece. The middle button is used to henshin. The other 2 buttons are similar to those of the Timeranger Chrono Changer, as they are used to navigate. The 2 buttons go through the available GekiWazas. Each GekiWaza has its own distinct sound. There are lots of GekiWazas, some needing to be unlocked through continuous play. I only went through the ones on my changer, but be aware that there are many more. A great thing about the GekiChanger is that it has a motion sensor. To henshin, and to activate the GekiWazas, you need to press the respective button and move the changer by either striking the air or simply shaking it. It has some flaws, but you'll have lots of fun. Snag one if you can. I gave it a 4/5.Enjoy!Next Review: Dekaranger SP License

Nov 18, 2008 - What with everyone saying Japan is better than America? If that's the case, then what's America?

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - When you think about it, the Solar Morphers are pretty functional. Remember, the Rangers own a pizzeria. They wouldn't want to get tomato sauce or flour on their morphers, now would they?

Nov 18, 2008 - I know solar morphers suck I would llok like a fool wearing those shades to school. But this is to noticable

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - why the hell would you wear solor morphers to school? you look like an idiot i bet. these morpher are much more cooler in your hands

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - pizza shop? solar morphers? has nothing to do with the gekiranger series

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Well, Disney probably decided to have them work at a pizza shop instead of a sporting goods company (like the original). And the morphing sunglasses don't seem to work. And the Shark, Bat, and Elephant masters don't morph. The other Rangers just summon them. They come from nowhere.

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - like the new jungle fury epidsode they summon their masters now? its like another version of pokemon

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I know. But when you think about it, Swoop would probably wear his Solar Morpher all the time.

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - well before he was even a ranger he had glasses. its just his " matrix look "

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I thought he was blind.

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - yea he is, but how stereotypical that ever blind people wear shades... I think it would look cool with his outfit. I like jungle fury but the solar morphers is kinda gay in my opinion. and Free the tiger is corny..

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Well, he would look cool wearing the Solar Morpher all the time. They still work like normal shades, except you push a button and morph.

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - he doesnt need solar morphers... he has his own sunglasses the last epidsode Leo or Retsu summon the master out... the masters dont morph... they have a role call

palmercomm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - So, you're saying that Swoop wouldn't need a Solar Morpher. It probably would be strange to see 3 old men put on shades and then do the same poses the others did.

evilnitewing Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - jungle fury the original 3 uses solar morphers in gekiranger uses tiger claw, gekivoilet or wolf ranger uses his own morpher & rhino ranger uses the saiblade as a morpher and jungle fury they use a bracelet kinda gay but w/e. gekiranger 3 masters dont morph and jungle fury last epidsode they summon them. yes it be weird if all the masters starts wearing sunglasses and not having their own morphers originally only master swoop wear it with his attire.
