celshader Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Does the reporter at the beginning of this clip have cancer? He does not look well or is he just old. He sounds fairly youngish.

sojourner99 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - This cspan interview is interesting because it shows John Stewart is not an ultra-liberal who believes every anti-bush thing he hears. He disagrees with Fox news, but respects them for what they've been able to achieve. He dislikes Bush's politics but in no way feels Bush is inherently "evil". Its rare to find someone like this who can separate politics from what is.

MeansDarling Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Watching this makes me feel like I could be like him and stand for what news could be. Gah! It feels like someone should just DO something!

voxesencial Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - I've always found John Stewart more funny in these kind of spontaneous interviews than on his show. He's a master in knee-jerk humor.

litterthisheart Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - This is my favorite interview with Jon that I've ever seen. It's always fun to see him outside the context of his show. It was great too that this interview actually gave us something, we learned something from it. I think a lot of interviews with him ask the same basic questions, all coming from the point of view that he is a diehard liberal and wanting some sort of explanation from him- it was nice to see that this interview didn't fall into that trap.

Athenia Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - I so needed that!

younghove01 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Me To....yeah.

KICKINHOT Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - jon stewart is in his time. He is as crude, low, lacking in worth and virtue as his following.

delfine Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - I really enjoyed this video, thank you. :) It's great to see Jon at other venues... places where he can just kinda speak his mind and be a person instead of a host. Doesn't make him any less funny or articulate, though.

TheLastMuse Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - John Stewart is inspiring.

torex007 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - This man is a true genius

travia21 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - You gotta love it when an intelligent man is speaking the truth, and he just so happens to be liked.

5Heliotrope Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Thanks for taking the time to post.

Vehement00 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Great guy. Sometimes his jokes and discussions are a bit sporadic, but overall he did a really good job in the interview and Q&A. Great Job. C-Span was never this funny (I tried really hard watching it...); too bad the interview ended.

lalalayouresocool Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Wow, this interview was so insightful and hilarious :) Thanks for posting them all, Jon is just incredible to listen to.

busini Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - This is brilliant, he knows what he's talking about, and knows how to cut through the bullshit. Not to mention his comedy breaks down some of the etiquette and courtesy that normally ruins interviews with any accomplished individual.

GOneScUBa Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Searing brilliance, passionate conviction and witty sarcasm... Jon Stewart is the man! As a young lady, i find him sexy! apparently, wisdom is hot! :)Thanks for posting this! This is my favorite interview w/ Jon. He's an inspiration.

Bluestarhand Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - Yeah, this was pretty insightful. But this is just going off on a tengent, somewhat, but why is "chomsky" on the tags? There isn'y any mention on him in all seen videos.

billwambold Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - If I could give you a pound of courage and a pound of intelligence...I would be wasting my time. You already have them both. Keep on truckin'

stevemcgee99 Says:

Jul 26, 2008 - 3:45 "McCain/Stewart '08" Can you believe that??? If you think McCain didn't flip-flop, just remember those old bumper stickers...
