Jul 7, 2008 - I love this song but... it doesn't make much sense to me. That makes it all the more interesting.

Jul 7, 2008 - Tin Man is America's best song. Another great song of Dewey is Amber Cascades, a very underrated song.
mystrol3 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - you know wheelzy i thought i was the only one that felt this way about current radio play. but i guess i am not the only one, which makes feel that i am not only whenever i think about it, it's too bad that kids today don't listen to treu music artist. today it's about fame and reality shit tv. thats what's destroying everything.
lilambygirl Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - narox...you hit it straight on! Dewey's voice is unbelievable and I LOVE "Amber Cascades", very underrated but absolutely gorgeous! My name is Amber so I always loved this song :) But really, Bunnell is in fine form on that song...simply amazing!
lilambygirl Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I'm only 25 but I would marry Gerry Beckley in 1972 or in 2008, his soul is still the same and he is quite possibly the sexiest man alive...I love the hippie/brainy sensibility..he's so artistic and amazing. I also adore Dewey...possibly one of the most original voices in folk rock, mesmerizing!! Hey by the way, WHERE'S MY CIGARETTE?? :)
Angelboy420 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I have to agree with ya old64, one of the most underated bands EVER. I like almost every one of thier songs.
stringslaves Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - m hearin america d first time here.. n man dey r awesome.. can ny1 suggest me their good songs??
lilambygirl Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - stringslaves...honestly you can't go wrong with any of their albums. I have them all in their original form on vinyl and they are all outstanding. Go with "History-America's Greatest Hits" or "Here and Now" to get a feel for them, but honestly, they are amazing, their self-titled LP is classic. As for suggesting their "good songs", well they are all awesome to congrats for discovering this underrated and brilliant band.
stringslaves Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - thanks a bunch .. that would help..
SqwishTV Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Hmmm. Well, who cares about the ratings anyway? Music wasn't meant to be a competition. Just say no to American Idol. Music is art, expression, emotion and everything that was meant to be shared within a universal consciousness that unifies us on a purely platonic level.
hexenhuisje Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - pure and brilliant and......etc. Fantastic band.

Jul 7, 2008 - im only 18 but im so glad my dad raised me around this music i love this song and all their other songs
southbridgemax Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - You couldn't take out Gerry, not the second guitar either, nor could you do without the bass or drums, but you could easily let Dewey go find his cigarette and the song suffers not a wit.
lilambygirl Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Max...once again you let me down love. Dewey isn't the one looking for the cigarette, that would be Gerry. And besides, this song could never exist without Dewey, he wrote it, it was his brainchild, plus he played lead and sang it. You got me lost here honey, this song would be nothing without Dewey Bunnell.
southbridgemax Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - I probably just need to learn their names. Despite all my criticisms, they do have a dynamic that makes for some nice songs. My favorite song (call me shallow) is Sister Golden Hair. It was me and Kathy's song about 30 or so years ago, in high school. (I haven't seen her in about that long either, ha, ha). Anyway, thanks for educating me on the band.
