Jul 7, 2008 - I understand why so many of you are confused by the director's choice of using the song "Hurt" on the soundtrack. He most likely chose the song due to the troubled history of the Shar-Pei. But... he does not tell us anything about the history as the opening titles promised us. Instead we get a collage of mostly happy shar-peis. So therefore, the song does not make much sense in this video.

Jul 7, 2008 - i have a shar pei puppy and she got sick just a little over a week ago, the doctor thought she had a spider bite or something of that matter.. i knew it couldn't have been. so i researched and found out she had hock syndrome/shar pei fever, which after so many attacks can kill their kidneys. she lost her muzzle and it is slowly coming back. i wish veterenarians would start paying more attention to this breed so they can get better medical help when they do have complications.
