This video shows me playing Star Fox yet again on ZSNES, with the intention this time being to demonstrate how to get into the Black Hole and where it leads. For written instructions, to get into the Black Hole, from the level 1 Asteroid Belt, you need to shoot the spinning meteors as close as possible without crashing into the red one in the center (it may look like I hit one, but it was one of the grey ones that broke off when it was destroyed). After that, there should be a meteor with a face on it (like in the level 3 Asteroid Belt). Fly into the vortex that appears, and you go to the Black Hole. The area is a warp zone, so the video shows where all the warps go. First ring takes you to Sector Y, second ring goes to Sector Z, and the third ring dumps you at the level 1 Venom. If you take the second or thrid rings, you will change your course, and the game will continue on that course. You will notice the STATE 1 SAVED/LOADED messages at the bottom of the screen. There's a reason for this. I didn't feel like playing through the first two stages more than I had to, so I saved state at the right time and just played the Black Hole three times.

Oct 12, 2008 - If I was a little kid, I would be kind of scared. The music, the setting, it's all creepy

Oct 12, 2008 - Ah, this level. Brings back memories. Even though SF64 had better graphics and voice acting, IMO this is still the best SF game.

Khalhys Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - I don't think they've had more eerie music than that, but the sound track of all the star fox games are EPIC (excluding that LSD trip). I don't know much about the warps though; don't have this game.PS: Why do I get the feeling this would've gone well with Castlevania?

LordTyphoon Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - Eerie music can be epic tooWhat is all this hate? ;d

Khalhys Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - Hate? I don't see where you're going... Star Fox is kick-ass^^I especially like Star Fox Adventures: Star Fox, Terranigma Style, FTW. Trust me, I not just in it for Krystal's first appearance.PS: About what I said about the whole Castlevania thing for the black hole; did you begin to picture Fox McCloud with a whip?

Khalhys Says:

Oct 12, 2008 - And if you miss the 6th one Fox will be condemned to the Realm of Eternal Screaming and... uhhrgh... Restlessness.in other words, do you die if you miss the sixth one? I never played, so I don't know.
