Search google for "labor-camps china", what you are describing are merely sweat shops, which are ugly, but at least nobody does force them physically to do it. Although I don't really have a good opinion about any country that encourages sweat shops on it's soil, or companies that invest into this kind of businesses. But keep in mind there are forced labor-camps in China.

In reality it has a tendency to turn into Communism-which has proven to not work. Even modern China is psuedo communist now. I really don't think that people care one way or another if a person/country is communist. The good ones do care about freedom and human rights.
