They first went to Nihilistic Software, but they took too long to work on it because they kept redoing everything basically. So Blizzard pulled out and switched to Swingin' Ape Studios(Which Blizzard now owns), but then the nextgen systems started and they put it on hold indefinitely under the excuse of exploring those systems as possible platforms.

Jul 26, 2008 - Also, for those that follow gaming news. At the DICE Summit back in February, Blizzard gave a rundown of their history, including naming all the games they've canceled over the years. Ghost was NOT included within the list.Also, Rob Pardo(One of Blizzard's Lead Devs), stated back in June that there was still an interest in doing Ghost.So it comes down to a matter of when we'll see it. I just hope they do a PC port when they finally do get around to it.
