If you put the wigan teams from that period against the great St George side's from the 1950's to the mid 1960's, wigan would win!!!!(but we should really NEVER compare past era's)

Oct 12, 2008 - must admit manly did well hold out down to 12 for a longtime.been attacked all the time by wigan.wigan back then at central park was tough even more so with a full house behind them.they had amazing players and the ref in their pocket most of the time lol.they were a damn good team though once you got past that.aussie sides did do that.win their final then go on a bender i recognise vautin and shearer in that manly side queenslanders playing for a sydney side hmm makes me think they two faced.
