Jul 7, 2008 - Thanks Kiowa22, I arranged this piece much like the last piece of the "Six anonymous pieces of the renaissance" for classical guitar [with a little bit of Bach minuet thrown in]. I'll post the notation/tab on my website (hillgrovemusic -add the w's and dot com) within the next week or so. I like the El McMeen's version too; I just wish it wasn't in such an odd tuning.

Jul 7, 2008 - Thanks so much, CS! Yes, El's CGDGAD is a little odd, but it's not bad if you already happen to be in DADGAD. I'm off to check out your website. Best! Robert

Jul 7, 2008 - Cool. My research drove me to Plaxty Scott as the title for that No 179. From O'Sullivan page.

Jul 7, 2008 - Hi Clumsystrummer,You play beautifully, thanks for posting. I've been playing Carolan's 179 as rendered by El McMeen, but I like yours as it makes better use of the open strings - hence more harp-like sustain. Do you have a tab for this one? Thx! Blarney Player
