Nov 18, 2008 - I love the rough edges to this song with Melani's sweet background vocals going a little sideways. Thank God for this treasure of a video!

Nov 18, 2008 - To me this band is the best contemporary Hawaiian band . period. Other bands should open for them even without Mackey , not taking anythng away from C&K and the others C.C., Hapa, Olomana

Nov 18, 2008 - Kalapana continues to be one of my favorite groups of all time. I was born and raised in Hawaii and was blown away when Mackey passed away. Now that I live in L.A., just wish they would tour the mainland more often. I love seeing them live.

Nov 18, 2008 - Anyone know whatever happened to Kalapana's website? It's vanished. There were problems with the site that needed fixing up but now there's nothing.

Nov 18, 2008 - Great song. Great musicianship. Great performance. A little dated now, maybe, with the disco rhythms, but these guys were awesome and their music has stood the test of time. Mackey was living proof that we're all mere mortals. Anyone with his gifts should have lived forever, but it's just not meant to be. Hearing this takes me back to my high school days in Hawaii. Nice to know that the music still lives on. Thanks for posting it.
