Oct 14, 2008 - Ok, lets see you post a video or two of you playing bass (hey, play bass guitar if you have to, that's even easier right?), and you can show us all how easy it is. Once you're done with that, do some ones on say... saxaphone, all the brass instruments, bowed string instruments.. oh and drums of course. After all, if it's only playing one note at a time or hitting stuff with sticks it doesn't take talent right? I'll look forward to hearing you!
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Gremlin...Pianists are the kings of music. Drummers and bass players are the bottom-feeders. CASE CLOSED.
misotoma Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - does a harp not have more range then a piano ? hence your statement wouldnt be true.. lol.
Gremlin Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Egotistical elitist wannabes get less gigs, less friends, and less real enjoyment out of music. Case closed. Feel free to re-open it by showing us what you can do. You'd have to be pretty damn good to justify the bull you're typing here :)
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - miso stupid...I never said the word "range." You are crazy.
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - gremoroon...I have ALWAYS worked, when I wanted a "gig." My friends are mostly pianists, and other jazz players who know the truth that drummers and bass players are mostly low-talent robots. I was classically trained at age 6...the exact same age as Bill Evans. I have played "Emily" for 30 years. On the other hand, you are DELUSIONAL. You have no idea how many friends I have, how much money I make, or how much I "enjoy" music. Probably you are some envious, dumbass drummer or bass player. LOSER
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - gremoron...At this stage in my life, I am independently wealthy. I don't play unless I feel like it. I don't "wannabe" any thing other than what I am. I really like my life. Working daily as professional musician is a grind after a while. Actually, in a few months, I may post some videos on Youtube, so younger players can see my hands and learn. I'm buying and improving some real estate now, so I am too busy. Too busy also to waste time responding to your future comments. BYE, Gremmy.
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Gremmoron...Why should I play for you? You have no ear to judge anything. You have proven that. If you don't know that Bill Evans is more talented that some bass player or drummer, what is the point? I'd be casting pearls before a swine. The pianist in all great jazz trios, is always the most talented. DUH Guys like Oscar Peterson, George Shearing, Thelonius Monk are the stars...not the drummer.

Oct 14, 2008 - exactly!! great song.

Oct 14, 2008 - La fantasia,la mutevolezza armonica,la creatività e il tocco magico di B. Evans non hanno avuto e non avranno possibilità di paragoni

Oct 14, 2008 - Who are you trying to convince, us or you? I think you're a lying bullshitter.
minor7b5b9 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - You're a LOSER even answering this piece of shit.
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - minor...What you "think" is incorrect. Did you also vote for Bush? Gremlin asked me questions about my life and musical ability. I just answered them. Everything I said was true, not BS. For you to doubt my success in life tells me you are probably a failure.
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - minor...TY for your comments. You have given me a new appreciation of my life, and how lucky I have been. When I tell the truth about my life, you think it is some lying exaggeration. No one's life could be that good, so they must me lying. I merely play the piano well, and have more money than I need. But to you, that is some kind of impossible dream. Consequently, you have made me feel fortunate indeed. Thanks again.
Gremlin Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - I never said anything about Bill Evan's playing. My objection is to two things. The first is that you even try to compare instruments as one being better than another when they serve different purposes, and secondly that people who play one are inherently less talented that someone who plays another. My challenge is simple. If you think bass or drums requires no musical ability, then go ahead and try to play something good on one of them. Otherwise, shut the fuck up :)
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - gremlin...You grow more stupid each day. Why on Earth would I waste my time playing primitive instruments like drums and bass??? When I play the piano, I automatically play rhythm as would a drummer. With my left hand, I am laying down a bass line. Of course, with the right hand I play the melody. And with both hands harmony. Are you DENSE? Tell me, which LOSER "instrument," do you play...bass or drums? You have delusions grandeur to think you are the equal of a pianist.
Gremlin Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - I only asked you to play them in order to try and back up dumbass remarks like that "primitive" comment :)Incidently I'm classically trained on piano to grade 8 and play bass guitar for a living. But I don't see what that has to do with anything.
PervisJohnson Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - gremlin...FINALLY, you overcame your shame, after all this time and confessed you are indeed a bass player. Just as I suspected! I knew it all along. According to your lame reasoning a triangle-player in an symphony orchestra is the equal of Rachmaninoff at the keyboard. You are one dumbass cracker!
joakocai Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Cierren la boca y escuchen.Es Bill Evans el que está tocando.
iwanttowatchsomethin Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - Bill Evans hits every mark.
greatersiren Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - you mean pervis, right?
greatersiren Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - I think you've got to be right on that one minor! this guy is some kind of nutcase, and we've spent too much time engaging him.
fairyturd2001 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - HAHA pervisjohnson probably sucks!!!
greatersiren Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - he probably doesn't even play
