Jul 7, 2008 - Slaton, maybe. He is still kinda small. White would probably only do well as a return man... he is very small.

MntrTodd Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Still can't believe ANDRE FRIGGIN' WARE beat out Major for the Hesiman (shakes head)

Chris12Skinner Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - He did go pro... but never played, got drafted, but never played.

Killwich Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I was 7 years old when he did this, but remember it well. Hr ran a 50 yard touchdown on a broken play and got called back on a flag. Next play he did the same thing and ran it all the way in again. Amazing QB. I have the opportunity to go to the BCS National Championship in NO and I will wear his throwback jersey, #9 with his name on the back to the game if we get in. Mr. Excitement!

Killwich Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - BTW.... he always carried that ball like a loaf of bread. Drove my dad nuts, hehe

dkleinst Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Thanks for reminding me of what a special talent Major was. WVU has had some pretty good QB's through the years. I was there when Oliver Luck was the guy. Jeff Hostetler was great for us as well and of course, Bulger was awesome. Love Pat White and he is incredible as well, but the best QB I ever saw in the Mounties uniform was this guy...Sad we didn't get to watch him Sundays.

sageofsuccess Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - It's too bad Major never got a chance in the pros. He was ahead of his time before the likes of Vince Young.

JigerJones Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I still remember the ceremony that year though, Major fired out this quote "I can do anything, that a Heisman Trophy can do". Looked like Major and Paul Palmer had been out all night. Favorite QB from back in the day.

sageofsuccess Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I nominate Major Harris to be WVU's next football coach!

watcher2oo6 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I would trust Major more than that dishonest whore RichRod.

RangerX3X Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Thanks for that vid brings back many memories. Major rocked the football world when he was there.

wvuparty05 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - best qb at wvu ever hands down

scuvley Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Major was great, but especially after this year, it's clear that Pat White is the best QB has ever had. And unlike Major, he will actually come back for his senior year to lead his team to another successful season.

rookiesink Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I am Major Harris's agent. I just called WVU about getting MAJOR the QB COACH's position the other day...We just faxed his resume'...I hope he gets the job.. MAJOR was one fine athlete and could help PAT WHITE alot!!

bayekane Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - he's got my vote

stalemate360 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Strangely, he reminds me of tony romo.

PoliticalAnimal1959 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I agree completely! What an incredible talent was this guy. He also would have been an indomitable force as QB in the present day West Virginia spread-run.

dthornton313 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - That sounds like the old CBS Sports intro music

kingjr2 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Woody Dantzler's kick return with Dallas were hetip toed the side line one of the best returnsive seen

privateeyeman Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I would LOVE to see Major Harris as QB's coach!

TheOtherView Says:
