He did not want to be a member of the band because he didn't want a "Real Job", but he participated in a lot of gigs and recordings with the Bros. Allman bros from 1971, CSNY from 1969, Derek and the Dominos, Airplane, Yes, Traffic, Fleetwood Mac w/Peter Green, Cream, Virgil Fox all in the peak of their powers. Great Stuff.
