Just like every successful rock artist, ever. And yes, he does know who John the Revelator is, he performs this song live.

Jul 7, 2008 - About that, I can tell you Jack sure have records Blind Willie Johnson because according to a discussion between him and Jimi Page about the blues on GuitarWorld magazine 2years ago, there were many references to B.W.Johnson and other "first founders" of blues if I may say.Jack is sure a good "digger" of blues.He kind of modulated blues into his own unique way.I respect that.
