Unfortunately, due to old historic circumstances, a lot of Romanian names had to be transformed to sound Greek. There are thousands of Gheorghiu-s who have no Greek ancestry. Of course, you are right, this does not mean anything as far as her talent is concerned. Just for accuracy.
