Jul 26, 2008 - ehh, ref's won't notice that.from my experience, is they call carry when they notice a disruption in the dribble and step movement

Jul 26, 2008 - I know they get away with this constantly in college and the nba, but he's carrying the ball every dribble.

Jul 26, 2008 - who cares if hes starting for the powerhouse university of memphis he has to be doing something right
lurtsman Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Don't mark him down, it is a legitimate point in the video. Per the rulebook, that dribble would be considered a crossover, though the call is almost never made. Calling the carry, would stagnate most offenses as it would allow for much better on the ball defense.Gave post above mine a thumbs up to neutralize the negative it had before.

shortfuse5 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - it's not carrying because hes not stopping the motion of the ball, and his hand is never underneath the ball.
parmezans Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Ok... This is really simple. You should make a spin through legs crossover, I made it a few times.
