Oct 8, 2008 - Haha please don't excuse for your accent! It sounds great. Did you know Tsangyang Gyatso was the only Dalai Lama ever to be born outside what is considered 'Tibet'? He was a Monpa, born near Tawang. That explains his great poetry haha! Oh yeah, when following the Tibetan it's thrung thrung with H ('khrung). Thanks.

Oct 8, 2008 - Oh yeah, Tsangyang Gyatso was a rebel in so many ways! Now there is a huge fight over the Tawang region between India and China because of that. The Monpa are known for their poems? you know wylie spelling? That's great! That means i can type to you in Tibetan. Yeah, thats true, but part of the reason tehy want control of Tawang monastery relates to the Dalai Lama's history there and the HIGH likelyhood of the 15th being born there. But yeah, it also has a lot to do with their nuts all-arunachal claim.
