pizzakid770 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - you have traces of normal...? Oh, yeah, we should legalize drugs, but the rest.. hmmmm. Paul is actually normal.

gravelin08 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Ron Paul thinks volunteer efforts will take care of environmental problems. Any sane person knows this can't work. If you've ever been part of volunteer efforts for any cause without a monetary endowment of some substantial kind, you will realize that volunteer efforts often fail more than they succeed. Do you want to spend your evenings and weekends dealing with toxic sites in your neighborhood and holding fundraisers for cleanup? Right... Meanwhile, the polluters keep polluting.

gravelin08 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Oh, please. Comparing Ron Paul to Mike Gravel is like comparing a poodle (barking dog, Paul) to a boxer (human fighter, Gravel). They agree on one thing: ending wars with countries that aren't a threat but Mike Gravel goes further and his philosophy is different about role of military and war, in general, in society/world. Also both want to legalize drugs BUT with different reasoning behind this position. The reasons are just as important as the position.

Jul 7, 2008 - I'm from, nor do I live in, America, but Gravel seems like a very worthy and experienced candidate. I hope he is popular in the states.

Jul 7, 2008 - Libertarian Party for life!!!!Mike Gravel 08! LP08!

semperlibre Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - thats stupid. the constitution does not give you the right to destroy someones property land, body (ie health.). Simply put the people who made the toxic site would be legally responsible for it, if it effected you property. You just don't get it.Of course large businesses polluting your property are often overlooked and have been for a very long time. giving tax credits only lets there pollution be somewhat legalized. I think you have his stance wrong. these issues are well thought through.

drzsr13 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - um you mean the democratic guys who are for that junk and they fly jets and shit just because they can? democrats are fucking pricks...

drzsr13 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - then that means every one would have to... because we all pollute in some way.

semperlibre Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Is that all ya got in defense of your ridiculous cliam that Ron Paul would expect you to volunteer to clean up a toxic dump. You really have to start at the basics. You have to look at the role the federal gov should play as opposed to the state gov. Not to mention the role the courts should play if your property has been violated.GRAVEl is not a libertarian, I love him though. WE need more straighr talkers like mike

shivakrishnarama Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I think Gravel is a hypocrite. He uses the democratic party to get into the debates and then run as independent. Your NOT independent if your a member of the democratic party. Mad respect to Ross Perot and Nader for being true independents as well as Ron Paul for being honest!
