Jul 7, 2008 - hey guys, unfortunately i just got word that Gerald Wallaces comeback attempt has come to an abrupt end - being that he has suffered 4 concussions in the past 3 years, Wallace needed more time to recover. After playing over 40 minutes in last nights game against the sonics, Wallace was rushed to Seattles Virginia Mason hospital feeling light headed. Official word is that he was suffering from sever oxygen depletion to the brain, which caused serious brain swelling and bleeding.

I have had 2 concussions in ice hockey within a 2 year period, and never have I been "rushed to the hospital." Its a concussion, not carotid artery, or something like that.
