Even though there are some Arabian, Indian, and Egyptian stories, most of the stories, names ect. are Persian and the book was collected by Persians. (Persian Orgin). Calling 1001 nights 'Arabian' Nights is incorrect, just like calling Persian Gulf, 'Arabian Gulf' is incorrect.
