L'incredibile storia, ormai dimenticata ed ignorata da tanti, su quanto accadde in Russia prima e dopo la seconda guerra mondiale agli italiani che vi erano rifugiati perchè la consideravano la patria della realizzazione dei loro ideali ma che in realtà ha mostrato loro tutta l'insensatezza di quegli ideali e la crudeltà degli uomini ormai assoggettati al partito. Togliatti nel suo continuo silenzio-assenso non ha mai fatto nulla per salvarli, anzi, pur di avere un ruolo di prestigio nel partito si è reso complice di tutto ciò. Può una "ideologia" valere di più di una persona?
